mission statement
The Continental Miss Teen America Scholarship Program, Inc, is founded on the principle that the future of our world is dependent upon the leadership qualities of today’s youth. The organization believes that involvement in community services should be both encouraged and rewarded and that in order to become a strong leader a young woman must be a well-rounded individual. She must challenge herself scholastically, she must be poised, and she must possess a strong desire to effect a change in her world and to set an example for other teens. With this in mind, we provide the forum for young women to challenge themselves to be their best, and we reward them for their efforts. Ninety percent of the contestants has never participated in pageants before. There is no modeling/pageant experience necessary or required. We are excited to extend an invitation to you to be a part of our program -the coveted title of Miss Arizona Teen America 2008. This prestigious pageant does not only exalt the beauty and latent talent of our American young ladies but also gives them the opportunity to perform community service and be challenged scholastically to serve as role models for our teens and be an ambassadress of goodwill. As part of today's youth in an ever changing and perplexing world, you ladies are our future, and it's never too young to be EMPOWERED to achieve. The newly crowned Miss Arizona Teen America 2008 will receive along with other fabulous prizes a $50,000.00 College scholarship. She will then have a chance to compete for an additional $75,000 college scholarship at Miss Teen America (national level). We invite you to an unforgettable life enhancing experience.
